Laminate Wood Flooring

This wood flooring effect is available from Tudor Tiles.
We are agents for KAINDL wood flooring. Please call to our showrooms for further information and to view the floors for yourself.
Kaindl laminated floors consist up to 90 % of wood. In the manufacturing process, the materials predominantly used are sawdust, woodshavings as well as logs from the deforestation of local forests.

Regulated forestry cannot manage without thinning processes. This means that trees are removed from the forest, damaged wood and trees that have been blown down, and consequently quality growth of the forest is promoted. Wood procured by thinning processes is used for the manufacture of support boards for Kaindl laminated flooring.

KAINDL FLOORING Laminated floors are high quality, hard-wearing floor surfaces.

Their hygienic and healthy living qualities make laminated floors ideal for people who suffer from allergies and for all sensitive living areas such as children's bedrooms and rooms in a kindergarten.

Notes on maintenance

Kaindl laminated floors are extremely hygienic and easy to keep clean.

  1. For daily cleaning it is sufficient to vacuum the floor or sweep it clean with a broom.
  2. Footmarks and more stubborn dirt can simply be wiped away with a damp cloth. Please make sure that you always use cloths that have been well wrung out. Never treat the floor with wet rags or use excessive amounts of water.
  3. All the usual household cleaning products can be used for cleaning. Scouring substances, wax or polish should never be used because they cannot penetrate the special layer of the upper surface and therefore result in it becoming dirty.
  4. Larger areas of dirt and stubborn stains can easily be removed with aceton or other solutions containing alcohol. For regular cleaning and special maintenance we recommend Kaindl Cleaning Fluid.
  5. Treatments necessary for traditional wooden floors — sanding, sealing or polishing the surface — should not be carried out because of the special surface.

In areas vulnerable to greater dirt such as the door and entrance hall, it is advisable to put down protective mats. Felt rollers should be affixed to the base of furniture and drip trays should be placed under plantpots. Movable furniture should be fitted with soft rubber rollers.
